Jeff

While recovering from back surgery, Jeff, a construction worker and excavator, participated in various challenges created by PTA/FRC Paul Murray to simulate Jeff's difficult work environment!

In order to get ready to return to work,  PTA / FRC Paul Murray devised this clever approach to helping this gentlemand return to work as an excavator. In addition to having him step into the circles (yes uneven surfaces are a part of his job!) Paul had him progressively step up larger and larger steps to simulate him climbing into a large backhoe with 14” step heights for three steps! Jeff will need to walk not only on uneven surfaces but also walk across narrow planks with careful foot placement. So “walking the line” as shown here is to help retrain for those skills while respecting his back precautions! Nice challenges Paul and Jeff!
