Mark

This February, Arbor Rehabilitation's Regional Director Mark Stapleton and the Director of Clinical Compliance Cindy Hudson attended the National Association for the Support of Long Term Care (NASL) winter conference!

During NASL's winter conference, Arbor's corporate team of Mark Stapleton and Cindy Hudson learned a lot about the pulse in the post acute care industry. Early results about the  impact of PDPM were discussed along with the impact of changes under home health's PDGM system.  During these sessions, Cindy and Mark realized that Arbor Rehabilitation has done an excellent job in aligning ethical patient care initiatives with customer success.  Many rehab companies have taken drastic and unfortunate steps in responding to these new systens.  Mark and Cindy also learned about plans to push back against the 8% planned cuts to Part B reimbursement, areas of potential scrutiny from CMS, liability issues and initiatives from our professional organizations to support effective patient care. All of us at Arbor Rehab should be proud of the success we have realized in effectively navigating the changes to our payment systems!
